2005 Hidden Valley Open
Senior Lady's Free
Why is this called Hidden Valley Open? Escondido is about the one place
in San Diego that is NOT a valley? Did the salad dressing people sponsor
this at one time?
- Trina Robinson (Escondido FSC)
- Music: Turnadot. Fell out of a double axle,
did a lunge, landed a double/triple combination I think the second jump
was a triple. Landed a double lutz/double toe combination, stepped out
of a double loop. Nice stretched camel spin. Nice three turns into an
ina baur into a spiral. Landed a double salchow and put hand down on a
double axle. She did a really pretty, well extended back spiral right at
the crescendo of the music.
- Kelly Knight (Escondido FSC)
- Spread eagle into a double axle, two footed a triple
salchow. She has pretty flowing spirals. Landed a double jump, a single
axel and a double lutz. Nice speed in her spins. She has nice twisty,
turning connecting moves. She did a double loop with a kind of a hop as
the combo. Heart layback spin. She landed another double loop and a
split jump.
- Felicia Beck (All Year FSC)
- She is skating to a Spanish medley with her usual
dramatic and very musical presentation. She fell on a triple jump,
landed a double loop and fell on a double axel. She did a camel spin
that made me write "wow!" In my notes, Forward inside camel really nice
position great speed. She landed another double jump. Great speed and
positions in her sit spin. Bielman spiral and a double jump out of her
spiral sequence. She did circular steps well timed to the music. Fell on
her ending spin.
