2005 Hidden Valley Open
Novice Lady's Short
- Kristina Selby (Escondido FSC)
- Fell on a double axel, landed a double/double
combination and a double lutz.
- Brittany Schwab (Portland ISC)
- Has pretty moves. Fell on a double axel and a
salchow, landed a lutz but I couldn't tell if was a single or double.
- Skylar Oneill (All Year FSC)
- Music is Gone With the Wind. Did a nicely
extended Nancy Kerrigan spiral right at the opening crescendo of the
music, and a Bielman spiral. Deep arch in her layback spin. Fell on a
double axel, landed double/double loop combination, her hands down on a
double jump.
- Janice Kwok (San Diego FSC)
- Landed a single axel, stepped out of the combination
jump. Did an ina baur into a spread eagle.
- Lauren Simm (Glacier Falls FSC)
- Put her hands down on a double axel. Landed a double loop/double toe
combination. She did a fast layback spin with nice positions. Very high
free leg in her spiral. Landed a double jump. Great split jump, very
high and very extended.
- Ada Chinda (San Diego FSC)
- Her spiral is very nice, very high leg postion with
a deep edge. Her combination was fine and was her double axel, she put
her hand down on the jump out of steps.
- Myranda Poletiek (Glacier Falls FSC)
- Music is Jesus Christ Superstar. Landed a
double axel/double toe combination. She did a very dramatic leap in her
transition steps. Landed axel and double out of steps.
- Victoria Rackohn (All Year FSC)
- Music is Polestvian Dances (I think).
Landed a triple salchow/double toe combination and a double axel with
good height. She did a layback into a Bielman spin. Change edge spiral
with a very deep inside edge and a Bielman spiral with some more
Sasha-esque positions in her spiral sequence. Double jump was fine. She
did a split jump with good extension.
I messed up keeping track of the schedule and I missed the Novice Lady's Free. As Marshall said "that's not the Antoinette I know." I am very sorry about that.
