Novice Men

Christopher Caluza (Escondido FSC)
He landed a triple lutz with a wobbly landing, but landed. Fell on a salchow, did a cool leap and an axel. He landed a double loop and then broke out in the cutest grin. Did some nice spirals and a split jump into a double jump. Skated to one of those Spanish movie scores that gets used a lot buy I couldn't place the name.
Chris
Landed a double loop, did a pop lutz/pop toe combo, fell on an axel. Nice height in his flying sit spin. Dida triple salchow/single loop combination, two footed the salchow. Landed a double jump and a double lutz.
Juliane Jao (Peninsula SC)
Fell on an axel. Landed a triple salchow/double toe combination. Very nice change edge spiral, with nice position, very unusual to see a boy do this move. Did some good one footed footwork. Landed a double jump and fell on a double axel. He set up to do a lutz but then changed his mind and just skated on by. He did a cool spread eagle which started out all bent over and then he stretched up into a nice position.
Bryce Gruwell (Escondido FSC)
Music is 1492. Landed a triple/double combination, fell out of a triple salchow, fell on an axel, landed a double loop and fell out of something. Did a spread eagle into a catch foot spiral. Landed a double axel/double toe, a double/double combination and another double. Ended on one knee sliding toward judges.
