Day ThreePractice Report January 6, 2004Oh my Gosh!! I can't believe how rude the crew of people I was sitting near at this morning's practice were. They were obnoxious and noisy about any skater they liked and ignored any skater that was not a name. They talked at the top of their voices the entire time and yelled across the arena at each other. They stood up at their seats and blocked other people's view. They very loudly made fun of skater's music, completely oblivious to whether the skater could hear. They were horrible and it is people like that that give all us fans a bad name. Michelle looked great, missed the loop in the run through, but fully in command of herself and the ice. The crowd went bananas for her and no one came close to getting the applause she did. Sasha decided to go for symmetry and also missed her loop in the run through. She looked good, landed more stuff than I have seen her land for a while. Angela Nikodinov was sensational. She tore up the ice and landed everything in site. Jennifer Kirk also had a great run through, landed triple/triple no problem. Little Danielle Kahle in her first year in Seniors was a dynamo in practice. She landed triple sal/triple loop during her run through. Amber Corwin also had a very good practice and landed triple/triple. YeBin Mok and Ann Patrice McDonough were not in good form and had a lot of difficulties. YeBin has not had enough time to come back from her injury poor kid. Also skating really well were Beatrisia Liang and Louann Donovan. We are going to have a great Lady's competition if this practice was any indicator. Copyright © 2004, Antoinette M. Aubert |
