Novice Ladies Free
- Lindsey Wilson
- Music is Shine, Pinocchio Landed a double
lutz, triple/double combo. Fell on a triple loop. Spun out of a double
axel. She smiled a lot. Fell on a triple salchow. Did a split jump and a
double/double combo. Interesting arm positions in her scratch spin.
12th
in the free and overall.
- Crystal Shum
- Skated to one of the weirdest medleys I have ever heard, some sort
of disco music and East of Eden. Started out with
butterflies into a sit spin. Landed a triple/double combo and a double
axel/double toe combo. She is a very fast skater and really attacks the
jumps. Did a Charlotte spiral into a double jump. Then did a
camel/flying sit spin combo spin. Landed a double axel and another
triple jump. Fell on something. Did a split jump and a double jump.
5th in the free, 8th overall.
- Brittany Vise
- Music is called Miracles. Fell on something. Landed a
double axel/double toe. She has a very pretty layback spin. Landed a
triple salchow/double toe combo. Has a nicely extended spiral. Landed
another double jump a triple jump and a double axel. 9th in the free and overall.
- Megan Oster
- Sand Dance, Adagio in C Minor and
Standing In Motion. Fell on a triple jump. Landed a triple
jump, put her hand down on a double axel. Landed a triple loop, triple
sal/double toe. Beautiful layback spin. Landed a triple jump and a
double axel/double toe. 3rd in the
free and overall.
- Juliana Cannarozzo
- Music is called Jealousy, and is some sort of tango.
She did a flirty tango with much making haughty faces at the judges.
Landed a double axel with nice flow. Fell on a salchow. Landed a
triple/double combo. Fell on a loop. Landed a double jump. Very fast Ina
Baur. Spun out of a triple salchow. Landed a double jump. Aggressive
skater really tore round the ice and went after those jumps. 10th in the free and overall.
- Molly Oberstar
- Music called Happy Valley. Very stylish and intense
skater. She landed a triple/double comb and a double axel/double toe.
She did a spiral into a loop, but fell on the loop. Did a shotgun spin.
She did a double lutz/double loop and another double axel. She did a
Charlotte spiral, another double jump and a Bielman spin. Very lovely in
between skating, I missed a lot of notes just enjoying her performance.
11th in the free and overall.
- Cara Kinney
- Her music is from The Mummy. Landed a double
axel/double/double loop series, very cool. I am not sure if the middle
jump in the series was a toe or a loop, but anyway it was impressive.
Landed a triple salchow with great flow out of that jump. She landed a
double/double loop combo and a double axel, another double jump and a
double lutz.
- Jessica Lee
- Music is Carmen's Fantasy. Oh the poor kitten. I have
been watching her all fall eating up the competitions landing jumps like
gang busters and here she was in the lead going into the free skate and
she has the worst skate of the season. Poor baby. You will get them next
year. She fell and popped some things. So I am not going into the
details of that. She has very nice in-between moves, with lots of little
bits of one footed footwork. She is fast and has very soft knees and
really goes after those jumps. Unfortunately today the jumps got away
from her. She was 6th in the free
and 5th overall.
- Danielle Shepard
- Gypsy Rhapsody. Marshall introduces himself to her this
morning and she was very sweet. I really like her because she is very
stylish and has very interesting choreography. Landed a salchow, I could
not tell how many revolutions. Landed a triple/double combo. She is very
fast. She landed a triple lutz. Singled an axel, landed a triple
salchow. Double axel, turn, turn into a double jump. Popped something.
Did a Charlotte spiral, has difficult footwork and connecting steps.
2nd in the free and overall.
- Christine Zukowski
- Music is Korobushko. Landed a triple salchow, a triple
lutz, a double axel, another triple, a triple loop and a double jump.
First in the free and overall.
- Katrina Hacker
- Music is Yellow River Concerto. Landed a triple
salchow. Did a doughnut on a stick spin. Landed a triple/double combo.
She has a very extended spiral. Landed a doubl jump, a double axel a
ripple jump and a double axel/double toe. Fell on a double jump. Had a
big grin on her face. She ended with a very fast Bielman/Y spin combo.
7th in the free 6th overall.
- Tenile Victorsen
- Music is Cello Concerto by Saint-Saens. Put her hand
down on her first jump, but I didn't get what the jump was. Two footed a
triple jump. She has fast spins. Landed a double axel and a double loop.
Pretty spin positions. She landed a double lutz. She holds her spirals
nicely. Fell on a triple salchow and a double axel. She has very fast
footwork, I really liked her footwork sequence. Landed a double jump.
8th in the free and overall.
