Joan Cristobal, 1st

The class of the field. Pink sparkly dress, skated to Four
Seasons. Landed a double axel, double axel/double toe,
double loop, double lutz and two other doubles. She also
landed triple sal and a triple sal/single toe combo, the
only novice lady with two triples. She has beautiful arms,
she moves like a ballerina. Graceful and elegant. She got
8 first place ordinals and one fourth place, go figure!

Brianna Weissmann, 2nd
-
White bodice with spaghetti straps, black body and skirt.
Music started out as Beethoven 5th, then changed to some
Classical music I didn't recognize. She did very high
double axels, good speed coming in and going out. Did
double axle and double axel/double toe, double loop, double
sal, double lutz/double toe, another double jump and another
double/double combo. She was very happy and smiled big time
when she completed her program.

Lanique Ruffin, 3rd

Very pretty peach costume with silver trim, some ballet
music I couldn't quite place. Landed double axel/double
toe, double lutz/double toe, double loop, double axel,
double lutz and another double/double combo. She has good
line and good presentation. She did a very nice spread
eagle for a full circle into a spiral, nice combination.
Unfortunately her free leg position in her layback would not
have pleased Dick Button. Nice headless fast scratch spin.

Kaillee Watson, 4th
-
Wore a red dress skated to Miss Saigon. When she landed the
triple sal it looked like she was going to burst into tears
of joy. She landed a double loop 3 / loops, another double
loop, double axel/double toe, a double lutz (it was
definitely a lutz I got to see the take off very clearly)
and two other double jumps. Was very happy when she
finished and grabbed her face with joy.

Christina Branom, 5th

White sleeves, dress with red roses trim, very pretty
dress. Lovely skater, moves very well and is very
expressive. Landed a double axel/double toe, double sal,
double lutz/double toe, double loop, another double/double
combination, two other double jumps and a triple jump.
-
Katie Mulvaney, 6th
-
Black bodice with slivery beads and a white skirt, very
jazzy number with Summertime as the slow part. Very good
presentation big smiled, she moved well to the music.
Landed a very high double axel, a double/double combination,
another double axel was a bit wobbly but she held onto it.
Did a lovely spread eagle into a popped the loop and fell on
the triple sal. God good height on the flying sit spin.

Sima Ganaba, 7th
-
She wore a black dress with big white beads. She did three
double axels with good height on all of them. One of the
axels was in combination with a double toe. She did a lot
of double jumps, two-footing only one. She did a double
flutz/double loop/double loop series.
-
Tara Sharma, 8th
-
Pretty pink and white dress. She has wonderful
presentation with balletic arms. She did a little flourish
right in front of the judges. Lets see she stepped out of a
double lutz, landed double axel, double sal, double
loop/double/loop, triple sal into a Russian split, another
double axel. She moves beautifully.

Stephanie Rosenthal, 9th

Oh I could eat her up with a spoon! I love this kid!
She did Cats and she was great, she did a lot of dance
moves, and really played the character of the music well.
This was a fabulous program. Wore a black dress with silver
sparkles. Landed a double loop/double loop, a double
jump/double loop, two double axels, another double jump, a
triple jump (I think), and another double/double
combination. She did a combo spin with a pancake position.
She had incredible expression to the music of _Memories_.
-
Erica Aden, 10th
-
Black dress with flames in sequins, skated to Firebird.
Landed a triple sal/double toe, 2 loop, double lutz stepped
out of into a double axel, fell out of another double axel
and fell on what I think was a triple toe.
-
Kristen Shwen, 11th
-
Blue dress with silver trim, skated to Lawrence of Arabia.
Very good speed going into and coming out of her opening
double axel. Also landed a double loop/double loop, that
is such a cool combo, double lutz/double toe, another double
lutz, another double jump and fell on a second double axel.
-
Kristina Von Haartman, 12th
-
She wore a dark lavender dress and smiled throughout the
program, even when she didn't do so well. She fell on a
triple Salchow. She landed a double loop/double loop
combination, singled a double axel, did a double jump `tano
style, and did a double jump/double loop combination.
