2000 Pacific Coast Sectionals

Senior Men
Only five competitors, but one of them is deffinitely out of his league,
his combo was a failed triple sal. So these four are deffinitely going
to Nationals.
- Baldwin, Don Baldwin
- Skated to James Bond music and wore a shoulder
holster (picture me rolling my eyes) Opened with a solid double axel did
a double lutz out of footwork and put his hands down on the triple flip,
I guess he didn't have a chance to turn it into the combo. Nice line in
his camel spin.
- Everett Weiss
- He has buffed up some since I saw him last, he wore a
dusty blue shirt and black pants and I will have to remind my girlfriend
that he is jail bait when we see him at Nationals. Did a triple
flip/double toe combo and stepped out of second jump/ Nice speed, good
fast footwork sequences. Landed a triple lutz and stepped out of a
double axel. Good height in his flying sit spin.
- Johnnie Bevan
- Did a double axel I think, might have been triple.
Triple flip combo fell on the jump out of footwork.
- John Baldwin
- Wore a black unitard with gold braid very new look for
him. Tango. Did a double axel, again I think. Double flip/double toe and
a double jump out of footwork. Good speed in his footwork sequences.
- Justin Dillon
- Deffinitely attempted triple axel and deffinitely fell
on it. Triple lutz out of footwork. Successfully landed a triple loop
and then fell on the second jump in the combo. But far and away the
class of the field as far as the technical difficulty he tried.
