The sightlines at Culver City rink are so horrible. Plus they refuse
to pull the hockey netting up so most of the seats have almost
impossible visibility. Would it really kill them to pull that netting up
for four days? We've got World Team members and probably Olympians
competing at this rink and we can barely see them. It ain't easy being a
skating fan.
- Douglas Razzano
- Music is Clair De Lune. He did a great
axel with lovely flow going in and out. He landed a triple out of steps
and a quad/triple combo. Great stretch and line his flying sit spin.
Beautiful positions and speeding final spin. This is a gorgeous program
very well presented. 1st
- Patrick Wong
- From British Columbia. He did a triple/double combo. He fell on
what I think was a lutz. He had a nice edge coming out of his double
axel. He is fast and smooth. 8th
- Dennis Phan
- He has nice expression. He landed a double axel. He did a spread
eagle with beautiful line into a triple lutz/double toe. He landed a
triple out of steps. He is graceful and smooth. 4th
- Gary Wong
- From British Columbia. Music is Pirates of the
Caribbean. He landed a triple out of steps and a triple
lutz/double toe. Excellent circular steps, nice flow. He fell on the
axel. 6th
- Kevin Reynolds
- Jazz music. He landed a quad salchow/triple toe. He landed an axel.
His step sequences were very musical. This was a fun program. 2nd
- Andrew Huertas
- Puerto Rico. Landed double azel, triple loop/double toe and triple
lutz. Great height in his flying sit spin. 5th
- Luis Hernandez
- He landed a triple loop/double toe, fell on something and landed a
double axel. Good speed in his straightline footwork. 7th
- Jeremy Ten
- British Columbia. Skated to a Beatles Medley. He has great edges.
Fell on the axel. He landed a triple lutz/double toe and a triple out of
steps. Very intricate footwork sequence well done. 3rd
- Wesley Campbell
- Music East of Eden. He starts the
program with beautiful little twirly leaps. His program is punctuated
throughout with subtle choreographic touches like that. He fell on the
axel and fell ont eh combo. He has smooth flow over the ice and
beautiful Moves In the Field. 9th
- Peter Lindstrom
- he landed a triple lutz. Had a bad landing on a triple/triple combo.
Fell out of a sit spin. 10th
