Had to get dinner during Junior ladys, so I could only get notes on
the last skaters.
- Mariyan Thurston
- Good height on a double axel. Did three turns into a triple toe but
fell. Landed a triple sal/double toe and a double axel/double axel
combo. She did two other double jumps and a double lutz/double toe.
Layback gained speed as she turned it into a catchfoot spin. She has
great landings in her jumps, really nice position and landing edge.
Finished well behind the music. 4th in the free and
overall
- Lindsey Davis
- Music is Cirque Du Soleil. She landed a
double loop, a triple jump and a triple salchow/double toe, a
double/double combo and a double axel/double axel combo, a triple loop
and another double axel. Tons of energy and great presentation, she
really plays to the audience. 2nd in free and 1st
overall
- Vanessa Lam
- She landed a triple jump that was very tight and fast in the air.
She landed a triple/double combo. Nice position in a fast sit spin.
Landed a double axel and a triple salchow. Great stretch in her camel
spin. She did an inside spread eagle into an outside spread eagle into a
double axel/double axel, stepped out of the second axel. She landed
another triple jump. Her spins have good stretch and are fast and she is
very graceful. 1st in free and 2nd overall
- Victoria Hecht
- She fell on a jump, then landed a double axel, stepped out of a
triple/double combo, fell on another jump. Landed I think a triple
salchow. Did a double axel/double axel combo. Program was very sturm und
drang. She did it well but it just is not my cup of tea. 7th in free and 5th overall
