2006 Nationals Jr. Men Free

Usual jump disclosure, I can't always see take offs, or count revolutions and I can't tell a toe loop from a flip.

The marks I am reporting were the ones announced at the end of the program and are subject to "adjustment." I always check the protocols later to see how my jump counts matched with the callers, usually I am only off on a couple of jumps.

The placements are for the event, not for the free skate

Daisuke Murakami
Music is West Side Story. Landed a double axel, a triple lutz and a triple loop. Did an Ina Baur into a flying sit spin. Landed another double axel. Circular steps included a very high split jumps. Landed a triple jump a triple salchow; stepped out of a triple lutz. A very enjoyable, dynamic program.

Casey McCraw
Music is Gettysburg. Fell on a triple jump. Landed a double axel, a triple loop and a triple lutz/double toe, almost put his hand down on that. Landed a triple jump, stepped out of a double/double/double sequence. Landed a triple jump and fell on another triple jump.

Jonathan Cassar
Music is Alexander soundtrack. He has nice Moves In he Field. Put his hand down on a triple jump. Landed a triple salchow/double toe. Popped a lutz. Did a twizzle into a lunge in his footwork. He has a nice back. Landed a double axel/double tow. Did a cantilever and an Ina Baur. Landed a triple jump and a double salchow. Did a gorgeous spread eagle. Fell on a double axel. Did a butterflies into his combination spin. Ended after the music.

Craig Ratterree
Music is Flemenco. During the warm he collided with another skater and was hurt pretty bad. Landed a triple axel, a triple jump, a triple loop, fell on a triple lutz, landed another triple jump. Did a change edge spiral. Popped a lutz, he was too close to the wall. He put his hand down on a triple salchow. He did steps into a double jump. He has nice height into his flying sit spin.

Fifth place

Jordan Miller
Music is Green Tomatoes and One More Night. Landed a triple jump, a triple salchow, a triple lutz/double toe, a double axle/double toe. He did a one footed flying sit spin. Landed a triple jump. He has nice transitions. Landed a triple lutz. He is expressive He did a triple/double combination and a double axel.

Geoffry Varner
Music is Last Samurai Soundtrack. He put his hand down on a triple lutz/double toe combination. Landed a double axel, a triple/double combination, a triple loop, a triple jump and a triple lutz. He did a triple/double/double loop combination and a double axel. He finished after his music.

Austin Kanallakan
Music is Modern arrangement of Bach music. Poor kid had a very off night. I am not even going to bother with my jump notes, suffice it to say the jumps were not there. But He has n ice footwork, a fast flying sit spin with nice positions. He did some dramatic dance moves and played a little air violin.
