I know that Jaques Rogge (sp) over at the IOC thinks that the new
scoring systems is going to spare the IOC from any embarrassing scenes
such as we saw in SLC. But he is living in a dream world. Under this new
system you can be third in the short and win the free and take home the
Bronze. Don't tell me that isn't going to have someone crying foul in
Turino. This system is still way too new for anyone to think this is
going to create an Olympics free from Controversy. Hmmm, come to think
of it has there ever been an Olympics free from controversy?
