Senior Lady's Short Program
The scores I am listing are the ones that were announced
in the rink after the skater finished. Sometimes these scores were
changed after the event. So if the scores I post and the scores the
USFSA posted are different that is the reason why.
- Erin Reed
- She landed a double axel. Fell on a triple jump. Realy good,
intricate serpantine steps sequence, one of the best footwork sequences
in the competition. Two footed a double salchow. Did a sideways leaning
layback into back leaning. Her program was well choreographed and well
performed.
Tech score 14.76 PCS 19.28 Short Total 33.04
- Danielle Schraner (Peninsula Skating Club)
- She has nice arm movements in her layback spin. Landed a triple
salchow/double toe and did a one footed flying sit spin. Landed a double
axel and a double flip (I think might have been a toe )
Tech 19.04 PCS 17.00 Short Total 36.04
- Anna Madorsky
- Landed a double axel with good height. Landed a triple salchow and a
triple/double combination, but two footed the triple. She did a catch
foot layback spin.
tech score 18.84 PCS 18.32 Short Total 37.16
- Aanya Reiten
- Music is the song With One Look from
Sunset Blvd. She has the most beautiful arm movements. Landed a
triple/double combination popped her axel. She did a beautiful, fast
layback spin, back leaning to side leaning. She fell on a triple loop.
Pretty, smooth and flowing spiral sequence with deep outside edge.
Gorgeous forward inside spiral.
Tech 16.38 PCS 20.80 Short Total 36.18
- Stephanie Rosenthal
- I can not even begin to describe Stephanie's programs. My writing
skills are not up to being able to describe the amazing performance
skills of this young lady. She is a dancer on skates who keeps a
character all the way through a program. If you have ever seen her you
know what I mean and if you have never seen her you are missing some of
the great skating programs of our day. Her short was something like the
robotic skate she did a few years back, but this one had a lot more
dance elements to it. She landed the double axel and a triple, she did a
triple/double combination with a hand down. Amazing footwork and
transitions.
I was so busy praising her program I only could write down her total
which was 44.46
- Olivia Olsen
- Music is Time to Say Goodbye. She landed a
double axel and she did a catch foot layback. She fell on a triple jump.
She did a double salchow. She did a good change edge spiral and half a
Charlotte in her spiral sequence.
Tech 11.74 PCS 16.68 Short Total 26.42
- Stephanie Smith
- Music was Pink Panther. Squeaked in a
double axel, did a triple salchow/single toe combination.
Tech 10.24 PCS 15.28 Short Total 24.52
- Tosha Hanford
- Music is The Swan by Saint-Saens. She
landed a triple loop/double toe and got a big grin on her face. Singled
the axel. She did a lovely, fast camel spin. Landed a triple salchow and
got another big grin on her face. Really nice layback spin with many,
pretty arm movements.
Only got her total 36.48
- Molly Clingan
- Opened with a catch foot layback spin. She landed a triple
salchow/double toe. She did a one footed flying sit spin. I can't make
out my notes on her solo jump, it was a triple salchow or flip and she
fell out of it or put her hand down. (I was doing a lot cold medicine
at this point.)
Tech 21.92 PCS 17.88 Short Total 39.70
- Amy Evindente
- She is very fast, she zooms around rink, with great flow going into
and out of jumps. She landed a triple/double combination with great
height. Landed a double salchow, landed a double axel and got a big grin
on her face.
I didn't get her scores.
- Shannel Noji
- She is also a very fast skater. She landed a a double axle with
great flow coming out. Landed a triple salcohw and got a big grin on her
face. She did a doughnut s;pin and a Bielman. Her music was swing, the
new stuff, not original swing and it was a real fun program.
Tech 22.42 PCS 19.68 Short Total 42.10
- Danielle Kahle
- Music from the Zefferelli Romeo and Juliet. She landed
triple flip/double toe, hand down on the triple lutz and landed the
double axel. (I THINK this is from memory I have no notes from her
program.) She has greatly improved her presentation, really moving to
and interpreting the music. She is stretching and extending her moves
now and has a lovely maturity to her skating.
Tech scores 24.22 PCS 21.64 Short Total 45.86
