Novice Ladie's Free Skate

Jacqueline Win

Landed a double axel/toe combination. Landed a double line. Did a spread eagle with gorgeous line. She landed a double salchow and a double loop/double loop combination. She has a beautiful layback spin. I really enjoyed her program and expected it would move her up, which it did. She was 6^th in the free and 7^th overall.

Kristina Struthwolf

Skated to Carmen. She did a double/double loop combination. Landed a double axel. Did butterfly into a flying sit spin. Landed a double salchow and fell on an axel. 8^th in the free 9^th overall.

Kelsey Trankler

Landed a double/double toe combination. She fell on a lutz and landed a single axel. She landed a double loop/double loop combination. She ended the program with a very pretty layback spin. 12^th in the free 11^th overall.

Sarah Beecher

She had a serious brace on one knee and a much smaller one on the other knee. Don't know how she managed to skate like that. She is fast. She landed a double lutz/double loop with extra turns. She did a single axel, landed a double loop/double loop combination and a double/double/double series. She landed another double jump and did a step sequence into another double jump. She has good speed coming out of her jumps. 10^th in the free and overall.

Catherine Riley

Skated to the music from Cats. Fell on a double axel. She landed a double jump. She fell out of a salchow that I think was a triple. She did a Charlotte into a double jump and a double/double loop combination. She did a fast spiral. 9^th in the free and 8^th overall.

Margaret Wang

Landed a triple/double combination, a double axel/double toe, a triple salchow, a double loop, another double, Very nice program I figured she would be hard to beat and she was. First in the free and overall.

Jessica Chon

Landed a double axel/double loop and a double axel. She fell out of a double lutz. She has nice connecting moves in her program. Landed a double jump and a triple salchow, put her hand down on another double axel, landed a double lutz and another double jump. She has pretty spin positions, ended with a blur scratch spin. 3^rd in the free and overall.

Heather Cristobal

She landed a double axel/double toe combination, then fell on a triple salchow. She landed a double looop, had a wild free leg in her second double axel but landed it. Landed three other double jumps. She has fast spins and good speed throughout her program. 4^th in the free and overall.

Victoria Muniz

Skated to Masquerade Waltz. Landed a double axel/double toe combination. She had a wild swinging free leg on a double lutz/double toe combination, but held the landing. She landed two double jumps and a double axel with a rough landing. She landed a double lutz and fell on a triple salchow. She did a split jump into a double/double combination. She ended with a combination spin camel/lay/change/sit/y. 7^th in the free and 6^th overall.

Sakika Oga

She is Adorable, with the cutest grin. She started with a jump that I think was a double. She landed a double lutz/double toe and a triple salchow. She has fast spins. She did a spread eagle. She landed a double axel/double toe, and three other double jumps. She ended with a very blurry scratch spin. 5^th in the free and overall.
