Again the sight lines at Culver City make it hard to see jump take
offs and landings, so my jump notes are full of question marks.
- Dennis Phan
- Did a single axel and popped a couple of jumps. He did a triple
lutz/triple toe and a triple flip off of a very deep inside edge. He
also landed a triple loop and a triple/double combo. Did a great spread
eagle, fast, great line right at a most dramatic point of the music. He
has good speed in general, good ice coverage.
5th place
- Craig Finney
- He did a triple axel, I couldn't tell if it was two footed or not.
He did a triple/triple combination and a double axel/double toe and
stepped out of a triple lutz. He has very nice secure, flowing edges.
6th place
- Scott Smith
- He has such a cute smile, he is fun to watch. He landed a triple
axel/double toe and another triple axel. He did a very stretched spread
eagle into a double axel/triple toe. He landed a triple loop, double
axel, another triple and a triple/double combo.
3rd place
- Kevin Reynolds
- Wow! And did I mention wow! Gorgeous program, classical music, I
think ballet that I didn't recognize. He has great style and
presentation, wonderful artistry AND he landed a quad sal and a quad
toe. Like I said WOW!! He also landed two triple axels, one in combo
with a double toe. Gorgeous footwork run. Loved him!
1st place
- Jeremy Ten
- He fell on a triple lutz, landed a different triple and a
triple/double combo. His music was the same as Shawn Johnson's floor
exercise. He is fast.
2nd place
- Douglas Razzano
- The only notes I have for Douglas is that he tried the quad and
that he has a nice program, good music well intrepretated.
